About Hive Notes

I grew up watching the bees on my parents' farm. Those early moments of curiosity turned into years of beekeeping and a PhD in Biology. My fascination with these remarkable insects never faded.

Hive Notes was born from a simple observation: beekeeping is steeped in tradition and wisdom passed down through generations, yet many beekeepers struggle with the practical side of managing their hives (tracking inspections, remembering details, and planning for the season ahead).

I built Hive Notes to bridge that gap. The goal isn't to replace the craft of beekeeping, but to support it. Hive Notes aims to give beekeepers a tool that respects their knowledge and honors traditions while making the day-to-day easier.

Technology should serve tradition, not overshadow it. That's what Hive Notes is about: helping you spend less time on paperwork and more time with your bees.
